Tonight KU Jayhawks fans were wowed by Andrew Wiggins' vertical and his Suit & Tie dance moves in the 2013 Late Night in the Phog. What is Late Night in the Phog? It's an annual University of Kansas tradition where the basketball players do skits, dance and then practice in front of fans. This year thousands of people were turned down at the door as Allen Fieldhouse filled in a hurry with 16,300 fans getting the coveted seats to watch the show and scrimmage.

Andrew started off his performance by dancing to Justin Timberlake's hit "Suit and Tie." As you can see in the photo above he looked pretty sharp as he did so. Next, as the team warmed up Wiggins tried to do a few spectacular dunks but took a few shots before he got his college jitters out. Finally, there was a team scrimmage and his stats are shown on the right.

This guy can soar and tonight was just a small taste of what we have in store! Along with a 14 point contribution from teammate Perry Ellis, the Blue Team beat the Crimson team 66-40. 

This new Kansas Jayhawks team is bursting with talent and should be very exciting to watch this year!

Andrew Wiggins will be at the ESPYS tonight which air at 8pm CT! You may also be able to catch him on the red carpet around 6:15pm CT. Be sure to tune in to ESPN to watch for him! I'll update this blog as we get photos and more news.

This morning, Andrew and the rest of the Gatorade Player of the Year attendees got dancing lessons provided by tWitch from So You Think You Can Dance! You can see photos from this event on the right and another slideshow below!

Congratulations to Andrew Wiggins, the Gatorade Player of the Year!! He'll be headed to the ESPYs tomorrow!

Activities started early on Tuesday. Andrew and the rest of the male and female POY candidate athletes had a work out led by well-known celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson in the morning.

Andrew Wiggins has checked in at the hotel in preparation for the Gatorade Athlete of the Year awards ceremony. This honor chosen from the Gatorade Players of the Year will be announced tomorrow and the winner goes to the ESPY awards which will take place on Wednesday, July 17 at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Later that night, the athletes went bowling.
