NBA 2014 Draft Rivals
Andrew Wiggins should go #1 in the 2014 NBA draft. However, there are several other talented young players that rival him for this top spot.
The two most talked about college players besides Andrew that will likely be in the 2014 draft are Julius Randle from Kentucky and Jabari Parker from Duke. Watch for these two to also be superstars during the 2013-2014 NCAA basketball season. Are there any other players you think will take the top spot? Let us know! |
Big 12 Rivals
Because Andrew Wiggins and the Kansas Jayhawks will be playing the other Big 12 schools multiple times, we've made a list of a few of the top rivals he will be facing from other Big 12 schools. These players will also be competing against him for individual conference awards such as Big 12 Player of the Year 2013-2014, not to mention Big 12 team accomplishments.
Oklahoma State - Marcus Smart
Oklahoma State should be the team in the Big 12 to watch besides KU and it's mostly due to a fantastic point guard named Marcus Smart. Smart is 6'4" and 225 pounds and is NBA ready.
Baylor Bears - Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson
Isaiah Austin from Baylor is a tremendous athlete with a lot of height at 7'1". He should cause a lot of trouble when the Kansas Jayhawks play the Bears this season. He is also good enough to take one of the highest draft spots in the 2014 NBA draft!
Cory Jefferson will also be a great player and at 6'9" and 210 pounds, he should also present some trouble in the paint and may also be drafted in the first round of the NBA draft 2014.

Andrew Wiggins Rivals for Best KU Player 2013-2014
Be sure not to overlook Joel Embiid who is a center that will also be playing for the Jayhawks when trying to determine the pre-season best player on the team. This guy is also going to be an exciting player to watch at 7'0". Other players with the potential to really shine are Perry Ellis, Wayne Selden, Tarik Black and hopefully Naadir Tharpe.

He had a 5 star ranking and also ranked top in his position (which is inevitable when you're the best in the nation). Can he hold this top spot? Only time will tell. |
